E cig is the short form of electronic cigarette.

Most e cigs take a cylindrical shape although there are other shape that are common on the market such as pipes and box shapes. Electronic cigarette is composed of the following component;

Atomizer

Together with the battery, the atomizer are the most important component of an electronic cigarette as it  function by  heating the liquid to form vapor and also as a wick of the e-cig as it by drawing the liquid in.

Cartomizer

This usually take the shape of a cartridge and function as a liquid hole of the e-liquid .A tank can be used instead of the cartomizer but this depends on the amount of e-liquid to be used to soak the poly-foam that hold the e-cigs liquid. The cartomizer, though not recommended can be refilled and reused but when it acquires a burnt taste this is a sign that the cartomizer need to be replaced.

The clearomizers

They are commonly known as clearos and they are clear tank in which the atomizers are inserted but usually don’t contain any poly-foam. Most clearomizers utilizes the gravity rule to ensure that that good wick moistening is achieved in the coil and no overflow.

Rebuildable atomizers

This is a form of an atomizer where the user has the chance of making their own custom made atomizer by assembling the coil and the wick all by their own. Types of rebuildable atomizers include; the rebuildable tank atomizers usually known as the RTAs. This atomizers function similarly to clearomizers as they to make use of tank to keep the liquid held into position but they are more advantageous when used as they can accommodate more liquid than most ordinary atomizers can. In this type of atomizer, a stainless steel mesh is used as a wicking material and the tank is made from plastic or glass and sometimes it is metallic. The other type of atomizer is the rebuildable dripping atomizers and in this type the e-juice is placed onto the coil together with the wick. The last type of the atomizer is the rebuildable driping atomizers which combines both the rebuildable tankatomizers and the rebuildable dripping zones atomizers features. Lastly the electronic cigarette usually contains rechargeable battery as the source of power. The e-cig contain LED screen where information pertaining to the voltage of the power can be viewed from.
